You don’t need to wait for items to go on sale at Gordoughs Garage. There is no “friends and family” discount or event. We are a small, family-run business that offers highly competitive pricing on all our collectibles and gifts every day!
We are a small family run retail business, selling a variety of gifts and collectibles that have been found, discovered, ordered, purchased, bartered, or collected over time.
We don’t need to make the most money possible on every sale, that is not our mission. We want to make a living, but still allow our customers an opportunity to purchase a new item for their collection or as a gift at an affordable price.
Anytime we can, we price items low enough that customers will struggle with the thought of keeping or “flipping” the item. Gordoughs Garage was not started to share the wealth through our pricing and service.
We are like the Three Amigos, Jimmy, Joe and Pab. We did our time in the corporate world, 60+ years combined between the three of us. A combination of 3 families, with a total of 12 people. The phrase commonly heard in our family is we are a “Tribe of 12”. We bring the family feeling to our business, so when you walk in the door you become family.
Our combination of retail, marketing, operational, business, management, security and sales experience hits all the marks. Our passion for different things melds well together at Gordoughs, as we each love different things and all our items at the same time. Most of the time, you will hear one of us say “Awesome” every time we open and reveal a new item we have bought.
Gordoughs Garage focuses on aspects that we feel are missing from the shopping experience. Customers are never a bother and even though we are not perfect, we can still strive to hit all the marks.
Sharing our passion, experiences, hobbies, collections, and most recent finds with the world. We do sell some trending items and popular gifts, but our passion is finding unique or forgotten treasures. We sell things that we would buy for ourselves, for friends or for family.
More time spent with family is always key. Able to take vacations together, enjoying the milestones of our children and enjoying life. Gordoughs is laying the foundation of a business that our kids can run or be a part of if they choose.
Gordo is the Spanish word for fat – We are 3 bigger guys
Dough is slang for the word money
Garage is self-explanatory and where the business started
Our translation means “Fat Money in the Garage”. Our company initials “GG”, is a tribute to all the grandmas and great grandmas of the world.
